“Bridging the gap between ambition and accomplishment, one task at a time.”

After graduating a course from an aviation school, the pandemic made a lot of people change careers from working at the office to working from home.
A year after the pandemic, I was blessed with a baby boy and made me change my priorities including my career path. From being an Avionics Technician, I decided to take the challenges of being a Virtual Assistant.
As a mom, having time with my family is very important to me. Being a virtual assistant allowed me to create a schedule that fits around my family’s needs while still fulfilling my work duties. As a VA, I am setting an example for my son, seeing firsthand the importance of hard work, and
dedication. Lastly, it allows me to pursue my passions and interests whilst meeting my responsibilities.
My motivations stem from a deep-seated passion for nurturing and supporting others in both my personal and professional life. Being a mom has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and effective communication, skills that seamlessly translate into my role as a virtual assistant. I find fulfillment in juggling multiple tasks, organizing schedules, and providing top-notch support to both my family and clients. Striking a balance between motherhood and my career allows me to thrive personally and professionally, and I’m committed to excelling in both realms.

“Serving with purpose”

Before becoming a specialist, she was a teacher with a decade of experience handling students from different levels with different nationalities yet yearned for more than just the classroom. Her
thirst for adventure rivaled the vastness of the Outback. With a heart that raced at the idea of mingling with people worldwide, she embarked on a virtual journey armed with her trusty laptop and a can-do attitude as bright as the Southern Cross.
As a virtual assistant, she became a boomerang of efficiency, swiftly returning with solutions faster than you could say “G’day!” Her love for diverse cultures was as deep as the surrounding ocean, thriving in the virtual melting pot of diversity.
Mastering the digital domain, she navigated virtual landscapes with the grace of a skilled bushwalker. But beyond the thrill of the adventure, helping people was her true calling, tackled with the gusto of a true-blue Aussie larrikin.

Nerizza Joyce Dela Cruz

Specialist
“Tough times never last, but tough people do.”

Right after her internship on University, Rizza started her career as a Junior Accountant in a Financial company in the Philippines. For 2 years, she worked in the general accounting team; auditing, reconciling, and preparing financial statements for the company. She was also a
Financial Advisor with the belief to help her family, friends, and other Filipinos to achieve financial security.
She is motivated to work everyday for her dreams and be successful someday. Being in CareOps was a blessing for her because it was a great privilege to have the comfort of working from home. Especially, that CareOps was a company who is also helping Filipinos have a VA job and have the opportunity to work also in the health industry especially in age care and disability. She believed that what she does here is not just to work and have a salary, but also, the goal is to help Australian citizens experience better service in their care services.

“Alignment in values is the cornerstone of unity; it fosters understanding, collaboration, and lasting connections among individuals.”

Before joining CareOps, I was in the BPO industry supporting big telco and finance companies in the USA. In my 7 years of experience with customer service, I have learned how to properly communicate with various customers. Then there was CareOps; I took a risk, and little did I know, I love working here, especially helping the two most vulnerable sectors in Australia: the aged and NDIS. I’d say that I see my passion working in the care industry as I feel fulfilled helping people out and making them feel that they are being taken care of greatly. It makes me feel honored knowing that at the end of the day, I know to myself that I did something right for these people who are in need. I always have this saying and will always keep it in my heart forever: “help not just because you are getting paid but also because you want to help.” With that, I stayed with CareOps because we are all on the same goal: helping people and making them feel that they get the care that they deserve.
